Our pups are our best friends, and naturally, we only want the best for them. As proud dog owners, animal lovers, and environmental protectors, our company aims to help pet parents across the country find healthier and more sustainable options for snack time.

At Wagging Companions, our mission is to enable dogs to thrive, not just survive. We inspire dog parents to join us on a journey of wellness and sustainability to achieve the wellbeing of animals everywhere.

We have been committed to sustainable and organic sourcing of ingredients and materials. In addition to our products being eco-friendly, we strive for better with a few extra ways of caring for our planet:
3 Trees Planted For Every Order
We work with One Tree Planted, an environmental charity on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees! Through our reforestation efforts and by not using animal proteins, we’re taking a huge burden off of the planet.
Certified Plastic Neutral
We have partnered with repurpose Global to remove as much plastic from nature as we create in production. We are donating resources to Project Pavitra Parvat located in India where people are on the front lines removing as much ocean-bound plastic waste as we use in our packaging. We are officially Plastic Neutral certified!
Our Pouches
Made from 100% recyclable materials. Just recycle them as per usual.
Our Boxes
Made from 100% recyclable and biodegradable materials. All you need to do is fold them and put them with the rest of your household recyclables.
Our Insulation
We use insulation made from fully recyclable materials. You can throw these in with the rest of your household recyclables!
Limited Quantity
With a 3-4 week supply of treats in each of our vacuum-sealed pouches, your dogs’ daily snack requirements are sure to be met and no food is going to waste.
We Are For the Animals
We are committed to being a voice for the voiceless. Here we love and protect all animals, not only dogs. When you choose a plant-based diet for your dog, you join us in taking a stance against animal cruelty.
Our Charity Partners
We have close partnerships with many local rescue organizations and shelters where we donate our products, time and resources all year round. Additionally, we also work with LoveRescuing animals, getting them treatment, providing them with food and shelter and advocating for them is all apart of who we are. By using plant-based ingredients and directing 5% of our profits towards helping animals in need, you’re joining us in our movement towards animal rights for all. We believe in giving every animal in the world the love and respect they deserve.
Love Shade For Animals
Love Shade for Animals is an individual run community. The founder, Neha, is truly a voice for voiceless and is on the front lines feeding the stray dogs of Allahabad, India. Her and her team provide these innocent souls with daily food (2 meals a day), beds to sleep in and they work with local veterinarians to provide basic and emergency medical care. We donate $1 for every order to their organization.
Yogi Street Dog Rescue
Yogi has been helping street dogs in India since 2017; they built a shelter in India and worked with an animal care facility to provide animals basic medical care. We support their groundwork on the streets of India through monetary donations for their core programs and initiatives of feeding, spay/neuter, emergency medical care, and life saving vaccinations. Our founder Natasha, being Indian herself, makes this organization one that is very close to our hearts.
Fureverable Dog Rescue & Rehab
We have been following Fureverable on their journey long before Wagging Companions and remember thinking “Wow, wouldn’t it be great one day to do something like this?” Fast forward a few years later, we have built amazing relationships with their team and have been donating treats to the doggos in their care since 2020.
Toronto Humane Society
Our city’s very own shelter, Toronto Humane Society has been fighting against animal cruelty and sheltering animals in need since 1887. The society has had a long journey and continues to demonstrate its commitment to the humane treatment of animals. We’re so proud to work alongside such an impactful organization.
Fetch + Releash Dog Rescue
Fetch + Release is a dog rescue based in the GTA, rescuing dogs Mexico and Texas! Their mission is to get as many dogs out of shelters and into forever homes. Our founder Natasha volunteers with them as an adoption coordinator.
Animal Protection Foundation
The home to hundreds of abused dogs, APF is an organization dedicated to helping and saving the stray dogs of Cairo, Egypt. They have built a sanctuary for homeless dogs where they are kept happy and sheltered. They focus on educating the community about sterilization to decrease the number of strays. They re-home, provide medical care and food for the helpless. They are on a mission to create animal welfare laws in Egypt. We donate $1 for every order.
Meet Natasha & Toro
Thank you for wanting to give your companions a more enjoyable life with ingredients sourced from the planet. Having dogs for years, I felt guilty giving them commercial dog treats. I didn’t know what most of the ingredients were, the shelf life was always questionable and honestly, my dogs were more excited when I gave them table food. Wagging Companions was built with the idea of giving dogs the best lifestyle possible; we aren’t just talking about our pets, but dogs all over the world.
We go above and beyond to educate our consumers about plant-based canine diets, and bring extensive research and studies to support our claims. This is only the beginning; a plant-based dog food company is our small effort in making a great impact. The goal is to give every animal in the world the love and respect they deserve.
We work together as a team to empower each other. It takes a family to raise a pet, not only at home but out in the world as well. Recusing animals, getting them treatment, providing them with food and shelter, working with local shelters and rescue organizations, fundraising and donating resources, is all a part of who we are. We want to ensure that Wagging Companions isn’t just a business that sells products; we are making a powerful impact in the world and want to make this journey enjoyable for everyone involved.
